Touchdown Geneva. James linked up with Nick for the opening day of Watches & Wonders – the annual Swiss watch trade show – and kicked it off with two very different but equally as impressive brands, Grand Seiko & Gucci.
For the former, the Japanese watchmaker has really embraced both titanium and dive watches for their new releases, with the standouts being two new GMTs and a diver that has a dial that must be seen to be believed.
They then departed for an incredible lakeside mansion just outside of Geneva with Gucci, who completely transformed the sprawling estate for their 50th anniversary of watchmaking. Think so grand and palatial that you need to get a buggy around the property. The brand has come a long way in recent years when it comes to their high horology, embarking on some bold designs and magnificent complications.
