Prior to kicking off a massive week in Switzerland for the annual Watches & Wonders event – the annual Swiss watch trade show in Geneva – we take a detour from all the action and make a beeline for Zürich.
And for good reason, no less. Breitling has essentially re-launched the famous Navitimer pilot’s watch a massive 70 years after its original release. The 28 new references and three case sizes to choose from clearly warranted the roll out of the red carpet, which included three Breitling-chartered Swiss Air flights to Geneva for 600 media.
Of course, Breitling’s captain, Georges Kern, lead the way for one of the more unique watch launches we’ve ever experienced.
