Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the classic G-SHOCK, famed timepiece maker Casio dropped the ‘Full Metal’ collection earlier this year. Featuring two newly designed GMW-B5000 watches available in silver and gold, Casino has added to the series with an all-black and updated gold version of the durable timepiece.
Inspired by the original 1983 G-SHOCK DW-5000C, the GMW-5000 has a vintage look with all the modern amenities, highlighting why the Japanese timekeepers continue to be leaders in the modern retro watch game.
Both square face watches feature all the specs you’ve come to expect from a Casio G-SHOCK, including a stainless steel case and bracket, shockproof and water resistant up to 200 metres, five daily alarms, full auto calendar with 12/24 hour formats and a one-touch 3 fold clasp and stainless steel band.

The GMW-B5000 is powered by a self-charging Tough Solar battery and comes with an updated white on black STN LCD display and Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping and Bluetooth connectivity, meaning you’ll be able to accurately tell the time with this baby no matter where you are in the world.
Both versions of the watch go on sale this November and will retail for US$550. For more details visit the G-SHOCK website.
