Japanese masters of hand finishing, Grand Seiko, have ushered in a new era for the brand with the opening of its first-ever Australian boutique in Sydney.
The new store, located inside Westfield’s Sydney CBD complex, opened to the public days before Christmas and follows a number of international boutique openings in Japan, Korea, Thailand and the United States. It arrives with a renewed global strategy to raise the profile and awareness of the highly underrated GS brand.
The store, complete with a VIP room, has been carefully crafted to demonstrate the timelessness of the Grand Seiko collections with lashings of signature GS blue and contemporary finishes as crisp as a Zaratsu polished case.
The Sydney boutique stocks all models from the Grand Seiko range, which includes the Elegance, Heritage and Sport collections as well as the Limited Edition 20th Anniversary Spring Drive Ref.SBGZ001 thin dress series watch, a release that celebrates two decades of Spring Drive innovation.
