  • In partnership with J Farren-Price, Australia’s longest-standing retailer of Patek Philippe, the Swiss marque is holding a new exhibition in Sydney later this December.
  • Entitled ‘The Passion For Workmanship’, this showcase will run from December 7th-10th and is open to members of the public.
  • Registration opens on November 12th, via the J Farren-Price website.

In a raft of good news for watch lovers, Sydney-based retailer J Farren-Price is set to bring a new exhibition of rare and important Patek Philippe timepieces to Australia early this December — and it’s open to the public.

Entitled ‘The Passion For Workmanship’, this new exhibit is already shaping up to be one the biggest activations of its kind ever to take place locally.

According to spokespeople from J Farren-Price, the event will feature “over 100 extraordinary timepieces”: a mixture of modern and vintage references, selected for their ability to convey the savoir-faire for which Patek’s watchmaking is so renowned.

This new Patek exhibition marks a full-circle moment for J Farren-Price, who (over the past 46 years) have enjoyed the longest-standing relationship of any Australian watch retailer with Patek Philippe.

At their core both family-owned businesses, it’s safe to assume that the depth of the Farren-Price/Patek connection means attendees at ‘The Passion For Workmanship’ will get a rare opportunity to witness the full breadth of Patek Philippe’s artistry.

“This is a very unique opportunity for watch connoisseurs in Sydney to experience the true essence of Patek Philippe’s craftsmanship,” says Julian Farren-Price, the eponymous second-generation owner of J Farren Price.

Although a complete list of exhibits hasn’t yet been announced, BH can confirm that individual watches will be curated from the Grand Complications, Calatrava, and Nautilus collections. And before you ask: yes, a handful of the new Cubitus references will also be on display.
