  • In what is the final watch revealed by Jaeger-LeCoultre this year, the Reverso Tribute Chronograph returns in 18k ‘full’ pink gold.
  • This reference debuts a new laser-engraved dial design, which echoes the Art Deco geometry that originally inspired the case shape over 90 years ago.
  • Jaeger-LeCoultre’s latest Reverso Tribute Chronograph in 18k pink gold is available from boutiques as a limited edition of 250 pieces, with an Australian RRP of $107,000.

When Jaeger-LeCoultre announced the Reverso Tribute Chronograph in 2023, it was the first Reverso to be produced with a chronograph complication since 1996.

Collector interest around that mid-90s Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Chronographe Rétrograde had been growing, making it the perfect time for a revival of the complication and unsurprisingly, it met an extremely positive reception. Now, the Reverso chronograph family has grown again with the release of another Reverso Tribute Chronograph in 18k pink gold, but this time with a difference.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Chronograph

Rather than the sunray brushed dial we’ve seen from Jaeger-LeCoultre before, the pink gold dial of this latest reference features a laser-engraved pattern of horizontal stripes, offering a nod to the Art Deco geometry that informed the very first Reverso watches.

On the other side of the case, the second dial with the chronograph counter has been artfully open-worked to showcase the movement beneath, complete with hand-bevelled edges and vertical Côtes de Genève decoration across the pink gold bridges of the movement.

The movement in question is the rectangular Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 860, comprising 292 individual components and measuring a wafer-thin 5.44mm from front to back. It’s manually wound, features both a column wheel chronograph and a horizontal clutch, and offers an impressive 52 hours of power reserve despite delivering energy to two different dials.

The case dimensions are the same as the references from 2022, measuring 49.4 in length, 29.9mm wide, and just 11.14mm in thickness, and is crafted from pink gold. It arrives with two different interchangeable leather straps, including one black Alligator strap and one light-brown calfskin strap.

The release of this latest Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Chronograph is a fantastic way to close out a strong 2024 for the Le Sentier-based watchmaker, with a watch that is guaranteed to excite collectors around the world. It arrives as a limited edition of just 250 pieces globally, with an Australian RRP of $107,000.
