Jaeger-LeCoultre is celebrating its 185th anniversary with a timepiece that can only be described as a geometric delight. Enter: the new Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface. A watch that is equal parts style and substance… as well as having styles as substance.
Unsurprisingly, this piece lives and breathes exclusivity with a limited release of fifty in the world and a price tag of $123,000 USD. But lets gosh golly over the design a little more, shall we? The metallic blue. The skeletonised dial. The platinum casing. And then there’s the striking shapes, the clean edges. Finishing with a flourish of blue alligator leather strap. Who knew beauty could be so… blue.
Under the hood, the Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface is powered by JLC’s Caliber 847 movement. The two faces of the watch showcases two separate finishes. One with the dial coated in satin navy and silver hands, visually hinting of the tourbillon at its centrepiece. One with a “… more mechanical theme…”, exposed jewels, blue hardware, and all, as well as “… [emphasising] the sixty-second flying tourbillon…”.
The Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface will only be available at select outlets. Find out more here, and see the piece up-close and personal in the gallery above.
