James Harden’s generosity knows no bounds. Just ask any strip club located in a major American city. And to celebrate the fact his Philadelphia 76ers teammate, Joel Embiid, has just been named the NBA’s 2022-23 season MVP (Most Valuable Player) for the very first time, The Beard decided to gift The Process with another first: a Rolex Day-Date 40 in Everose gold.

In addition to an extremely attractive sunburst dial, fluted bezel, and president bracelet, the caseback of this 40mm 18-karat beauty features a custom engraving: “2023 MVP.”

“How do you wear watches?” Joel Embiid joked upon receiving the unmistakable green box.

“Left hand, left hand… we’ll get some more links for you,” instructed James Harden, himself a recipient of the NBA MVP award back in 2018.

#21 added with full gratitude: “This is my first watch too, my first Rolex… This is crazy, my God.”

You could certainly do a whole lot worse…

Embiid beat out the likes of two-time MVP winners Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) for the honour in question after averaging 33.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game during the regular season. Currently, Embiid’s 76ers are tied 1-1 with the Boston Celtics in their semi-final playoffs series.
