Longstanding watch partners of the 007 franchise, OMEGA, have announced the release of a limited edition variation of their Seamaster 300M Diver to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the James Bond flick ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.’
The standard version of the 42 mm sports watch is undoubtedly one of the hottest pieces available on stainless steel right now, and that’s before it’s been given the slick 007 once-over, as is the case for the tasty example in question today.
Limited to 7,007 pieces and features a black PVD on a black ceramic dial, the eye is immediately drawn towards the spiral-brushed gun barrel design that meets at a 9 mm bullet casing in the centre of the face.
As well as the gun barrel, the watch has been peppered with 18K yellow gold across the hands and indexes, not to mention the gold plate on the side of the case that marks the unique limited edition number of the piece.
Perhaps the two coolest details are those only for the very astute observer. On the seventh day of each month, the number “7” in the date window uses the same font as the iconic “007” logo, and a number “50” hides on the 10 o’clock index, only appearing when the SuperLuminova comes to life in the dark.
And the price? $9,750. Check it out at omega.com.au
