  • Omega has announced its hotly anticipated Seamaster Diver 300M “Daniel Craig” line-up today, after the watch was first spotted on Daniel Craig’s wrist at the Olympic Games in Paris.
  • The two new models feature either a silver or black dial and are available on a steel mesh bracelet and rubber strap.
  • The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Daniel Craig” arrives with an Australian RRP of $9,850 on a rubber strap and $10,800 on a bracelet.

Daniel Craig remains Omega’s best avenue for teasing an upcoming release, with the watch world sent into raptures when the James Bond actor was spotted wearing a previously unknown Omega Seamaster Diver 300M at the Olympic Games this year. Today, we find out exactly what that watch was with the official launch of the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Daniel Craig”.

It’s been nearly 30 years since the Omega Seamaster became the official watch of everyone’s favourite James Bond, when Pierce Brosnan wore the famed timepiece in Golden Eye. Since then, Omega has launched several different 007 special edition watches, including one of our favourites — the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M ‘No Time To Die’ 007 Edition.

This latest release echoes the 2022 Omega Seamaster 60th Anniversary James Bond, with the no-date dial and steel mesh bracelet both proving winning design decisions among collectors. However, instead of a special edition explicitly calling out the film franchise, these two new watches are a little more under the radar.

There’s a black aluminium dial model with a wave-pattern motif Omega fans will recognise, which is framed by a matching black aluminium bezel insert. The second (and arguably more eye-catching) reference features a steel dial with a vertical brushed finish, while boasting a laser-ablated Grade 5 titanium bezel insert.

They both feature 42mm stainless steel cases (measuring 13.8mm thick), arrive with your choice of a steel mesh bracelet, and are powered by the Omega co-axial calibre 8806. In short, Omega has delivered just about everything collectors love about the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M range.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Daniel Craig” arrives online in Omega boutiques with an Australian RRP of $9,850 on a rubber strap and $10,800 on a bracelet.
