Florentine luxury watchmaker and gatekeepers of wrist-related style, Officine Panerai, is opening their first boutique in Melbourne. Partnered with one of the country’s leading luxury watch and jewellery retailers, Kennedy, they aim to “… deliver an exceptional retail experience for customers…”.
This store front will be located amongst the one and only Collins Street, securing a decent bit of 60 square metre prime real estate. Just enough room to showcase the company’s elite collection of accessories.
The store itself is something that catches the eye, flaunting distinct architecture surrounding concepts by brought to you by architect/designer, Patricia Urquiola.
Building upon the grand legacy of Panerai, while maintaining an air of modern sophistication, elements of bronze, wood, and special corrugated glass has be utilised in conjunction with brass lights to form something striking. And of course, the iconic company watch dial is on full display. In its totality, the store interior (and exterior) is something of measured precision and elegance… much like a Panerai watch itself. Here, tradition meets innovation.
This will mark the 75th boutique Officine Panerai has operating worldwide, and the sole store front in Australia.
