Last December ahead of No Time To Die’s supposed cinematic release in April, OMEGA unveiled their latest Bond watch on the wrist of Daniel Craig himself in the film’s explosive cinematic trailer. It’s a striking titanium Seamaster Diver 300M on a mesh bracelet with a ‘tropical brown’ aluminium bezel. Gorgeous, sure, but it doesn’t match this next-level Platinum Gold OMEGA Seamaster in either flex or price.
As we patiently wait for the 25th Bond film to finally reach cinemas in November (after what seems like a lifetime of delays and setbacks), OMEGA have announced this Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Numbered Edition overnight, offering the same 007 touches but all in platinum gold.
And to their credit, when OMEGA say platinum gold, they mean it. The 42 mm case is crafted in platinum gold, with a platinum gold plate on its side engraved with each edition’s number. The clasp has also been done in platinum gold for good measure.
A platinum diving scale sits on a black ceramic bezel which encloses a black enamel dial with the classic 007 spirally gun barrel design in 18K white gold.
As with the other James Bond special editions in the previous 12 months, a hidden number 50 can be found within the Super-LumiNova of the 10 o’clock index – a reference to the 50th anniversary of the Bond film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
There’s also a 007 logo at 7 o’clock, as well as 18K white gold features across the dial, most notably on the family coat-of-arms at the 12 marker.
Flipping the watch over, you can spy OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8807 movement through a transparent sapphire crystal case back which also has a laser-engraved Bond family coat-of-arms.
The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Numbered Edition (REF 210.93.42.20.01.001) retails for AU$79,200.
