Rolex is arguably the most well known watch brand on the planet and has always been synonymous with the best of the best, with everyone from action heroes through to sporting icons.
This is the first year that Rolex has been a major sponsor of the Academy Awards, and to mark the occasion they released this 60 second commercial as an homage to the history of Rolex in cinema.
Interestingly enough, almost none of these were commercial endorsements or product placement, but rather a reflection of what the actors chose for their wrist candy at the time.
