Rolex has revealed its latest Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 at Baselworld 2019 this morning. Now clocking in at 42mm rather than the previous 40mm diameter, this Yacht-Master sports a mysteriously monochromatic vibe.
Finished in 18-karat white gold with a matte black Cerachrome bezel set against a black dial, the new Yacht-Master is paired with an Oysterflex bracelet to match.
A first for the Yacht-Master model, the watch is equipped with a calibre 3235 movement, a self-winding mechanism that incorporates the brand’s new patented ‘Chronergy’ escapement.
The Yacht-Master 42 also boasts 70 hours of power reserve and is insensitive to magnetic interference. The sporty band features metal blades inside its rubber-like composition, as well as Rolex’s Glidelock extension system.
Priced at CHF26,500 (or roughly $37,400 AUD), you can find more details and availability on the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 over at Rolex website.
