Last week TAG Heuer welcomed media VIPS to 12-Micron for a stunning lunch and a hands-on look at their 2018 Baselworld releases.
On show was a host of new pieces including the brand’s iconic Monaco, released as both a Gulf Oil Limited Edition and in collaboration with George Bamford, housed in a captivating carbon fibre case.
Guests were treated to an entertaining behind the scenes look at Cara Delevingne’s African photo shoot shot in front of a snarling male lion before a snapshot of TAG’s association with motor racing through their relationship with Aston Martin – with their new collaborative Aston Martin watch finished with licks of lime green also on show.
Particular mention should be made of the brand’s affordable Aquaracer collection and evolving Autavia range which now includes a cracking GMT. And finally, TAG’s first Tourbillon, the TAG Heuer Carrera Tourbillon Chronograph released as a 155-piece limited edition with a price tag below $30k, a compelling offer for those familiar with the complication.
