Everyone’s current favourite “rich people behaving badly” show is back, this time set on Thailand’s idyllic white sand beaches. While The White Lotus season 3 swaps quaint Sicilian towns for Buddhist temples and wellness retreats, what remains consistent is the serious set of watches worn by the award-winning HBO show’s main cast.
Timepieces worn by The White Lotus characters are a cornerstone of the impression they deliver on-screen, with examples including last season’s sporty luxe Panerai on the wrist of Dominic di Grasso and Daphne Sullivan’s chic Tank Louis Cartier.
Costume designer Alex Boviard has clearly upped the stakes this go around: with brands ranging from Rolex to Swatch all playing a complementary role to her wardrobe choices for the third season (she received two Emmy nominations over the previous two seasons).
Granted, hasn’t released the entire batch of episodes just yet. But from what we’ve seen so far there’s already a ton of great watch spotting to be had – much of it nicely reflecting the characters themselves. Let’s take a closer look.
Timothy & Victoria Ratliff – Rolex Day-Date Ref. 228238
To kick things off we have the leaders of the Ratliff clan, Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and Victoria (Parker Posey), wearing a pair of classic solid gold Rolex Day-Dates; with Timothy opting for a serious black dialled reference and Victoria wearing an opulent gold dial alternative.
The Day-Date is one of the most famous watches on the planet, earning the nickname ‘The President’ thanks to its association with wealth and power. A favourite of world leaders and captains of industry alike.
Sritala – Jacob & Co Fleurs de Jardin In Rose Gold
If you had any doubt that Sritala (Lek Patravadi), the owner of The White Lotus, was unimaginably wealthy, the Jacob & Co Fleurs de Jardin she’s spotted wearing early in the season premiere should put those to rest.
Ultra-complicated, crafted from rose gold, and covered in diamonds and gemstones, it’s a watch that makes an impression more than a mile away; and one picked to let The White Lotus‘ well-heeled patrons know they’re in safe and similarly minted hands.
Jaclyn – Hermès Nantucket
Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan) is a TV celebrity, and nothing says Selling Sunset series regular like a timepiece from Hermès.
In the show, she’s wearing the small (i.e. 29mm) version of the Nantucket. This one is crafted from rose gold and features a mother-of-pearl dial, which thanks to its chain-style bracelet, blends seamlessly with the rest of her bling.

Saxon – Hublot Big Bang Unico ‘Black Magic’ & Rolex Milgauss Ref. 116400GV
High-energy and brimming with testosterone, Saxon Ratliff (Patrick Schwarzenegger) wears timepieces that speak to his highborn station and performative machismo.
In season 3 opener, he’s spotted wearing Hublot’s beefy Big Bang Unico ‘Black Magic’ before switching to the slightly more resort-friendly Rolex Milgauss Ref. 116400GV.
Lochlan – Swatch x Omega Moonswatch Mission To Saturn
The youngest member of the Ratliff family, Lochlan (Sam Nivola) is seen wearing one of the most popular (and affordable watches) in the game right now – a Swatch x Omega Moonswatch.
It’s not too expensive, but remains relatively difficult to get at retail. Perhaps a nod to the ‘special relationship’ his family doubtless have with their local North Carolina jeweller?
Valentin – Vostok Amphibian Military Watch
A wellness advisor working at The White Lotus who immediately impresses Jaclyn and her friends with his shredded rig, Valentin (Arnas Fedaravičius) is revealed to be Russian in one of the opening scenes, making his choice of a Russian-made Vostok Amphibian timepieces entirely appropriate.
This was one of the harder watches to identify, however, it’s also one that makes perfect sense on his wrist: both affordable and authentic to the character Fedaravičius plays on-screen.
Rick Hatchett – Rolex Datejust Ref. 116139
Another tricky watch to identify was the Rolex Datejust Ref. 116139 worn by Rick Hatchett (Walton Goggins). For The White Lotus, it has been paired with an aftermarket strap secured using a simple pin buckle.
Crafted from white gold, it’s not overly ostentatious and nicely reflects Goggins’ character’s rugged appearance and air of mystery.
