Just over a year on since the passing of loved celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain, a collection of the man’s most cherished possessions are set to go up for auction online next month.
From October 9th to October 30th, over 200 lots of the late chef’s belongings will be available to bid on, with a portion of the proceeds going to a new scholarship in his name at the Culinary Institute of America.
Presented by Lark Mason Associates on behalf of iGavel Auctions, highlights of the auction include his mid-century Peter Lovig Nielsen desk, a drawing by Hunter S. Thompson collaborator Ralph Steadman, Bourdain’s vinyl record collection and a steel and meteorite chef’s knife made specifically for Bourdain by Bob Kramer.
The New York Times reports the remainder of the proceeds will go to Bourdain’s family, including his daughter Ariane. See the full listing for the Property of the Collection of Anthony Bourdain here, and then mark your calendars for October 9th.
