Luxury cruise liner Cruise Croatia is offering one lucky person the chance to eat and drink their way around the Mediterranean as the company’s official ‘Taste Tester’.
The successful applicant will spend a week on a food & wine cruise meandering up and down the coast of Croatia on the 174-foot motor yacht, MS Bellissima, visiting all the must-see sites while experiencing the best local food and drink the European country has to offer. Best of all, you get paid for the privilege, with the chosen Taste Tester earning an easy 800 bucks for their troubles.
Departing from the medieval city of Split, the cruise will take in the walled city of Dubrovnik, the tranquil Croatian coastline and the Dalmatian islands. Included in the opportunity are two winery tours – one at the famed Tomic winery in Hvar and the other at the family-run Lipanovic winery on the island of Vi – a traditional Croatian village dinner party in Korcula, a private tour of Game Of Thrones filming locations and access to the gorgeous Krka Waterfalls National Park.
When you’re not spending your days roaming the ancient coastal cities, you can relax in your upper-deck VIP cabin on the magnificent MS Bellissima. The superyacht is still being built (it’s expected to be completed next May in time for the cruise in October), but will feature a jacuzzi, sundeck and pool.
You’ll also be able to indulge in a delicious breakfast and four-course lunch daily while sipping on local wine and taking in the gorgeous coastline surroundings. There’s even an onboard wine expert to hold lectures and talks so you can learn more about the region’s signature drops.
The only condition is that you must try all of the meals available on the cruise and give detailed feedback to Cruise Croatia, which seems like a fair deal but inconvenient for anyone who’s a fussy eater.
The cruise will depart October 10, 2020 from Split and finish in Dubrovnik on October 17, 2020. You can enter the competition at Cruise Croatia now, with entries closing September 4.
