Introducing the newly launched Hoper: Greece’s first (and only) airline company to offer a daily schedule of helicopter flights — complete with fixed routes and departure times — from Athens to the Aegean Islands.

Operating year-round with a fleet of glass-cockpit Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters, Hoper will effectively connect the mainland to popular hotspots such as Mykonos and Santorini; along with slightly lesser travelled destinations like Antiparos, Folegandros, Ios, Kea (Tzea), Patmos, Sifnos, Spetses, and Tinos in under 45 minutes.
As you’d expect, Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini serve as the convenient carrier’s core hubs.

Divorcing helicopter travel from the expensive beast of private chartering — i.e. how the majority of helicopter transfers in Greece are currently handled — is precisely how Hoper has managed to keep the fares accessible.
At the time of this writing, one-way tickets start at €160, climbing up to €350 depending on demand. For comparison, as reported by Fortune, a single-seat private charter from Athens to Mykonos will currently set you back around €2,775 during high season.
