- Qatar Airways’ Qsuite 2.0 (officially known as Qsuite Next Gen) improves upon an already award-winning business class product.
- Features industry & world-firsts such as movable 4K OLED screens, “AI Digital Human” cabin crew.
- Scheduled to debut aboard carrier’s Boeing 777-9 jetliners in 2025.
Let’s be real: the term “luxury redefined” lost all meaning years ago. And yet its undiluted sentiment doesn’t even begin to describe what Qatar Airways have achieved with its newly-unveiled Qsuite 2.0 (otherwise known as ‘Qsuite Next Gen’) business class product.
As to be expected from the world’s best airline, which already had something “groundbreaking” with the original critically acclaimed Qsuite business class, commercial aviation has truly never looked better.
Revolutionary upgrades introduced range from a movable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE screens (a first for the airline industry) with Bluetooth audio capabilities; to an “AI Digital Human” cabin crew dubbed Sama (a first for the world, period).

Travellers can also expect an added abundance of shoulder space and leg room; exceptionally spacious lie-flat and double beds (accompanied by a turn-down ‘Make My Bed’ service); as well as an enhanced iteration of the onboard Quad Suite option, which allows you to swivel the aforementioned screens out of the way and dine in a family configuration.
The noteworthy revamp that’s captivated attention across the board, however, involves the new Companion Suite offering for those of you flying in an window aisle seat. Once the partitions and screens are out of the way, it’s essentially date night with a view roughly 36,000 feet above ground.
Other highlights include touch controls for in-suite lighting and privacy modes, increased storage space in the form of a discreet digitally-locked drawer, plus an AC power socket complemented by both USB-C fast charging and wireless charging.
“We are excited to have finally revealed the long-awaited Qsuite Next Gen at the Farnborough International Airshow,” said Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of Qatar Airways Group.

“We look forward to welcoming media and partners to our stand throughout the week to experience the future of business class travel with the World’s Best Business Class onboard the World’s Best Airline.”
Qatar Airways is scheduled to officially debut the Qsuite 2.0 (also known as the ‘Qsuite Next Gen’) on the carrier’s equally anticipated Boeing 777-9 jetliners in 2025; in tandem with its similarly improved first class suites.
