The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has been making a return to news headlines in recent times. First, it was for HBO’s unscripted reunion special; then it was for the gritty and dramatic reboot coming soon; now – in what I can only assume is part of a viral promotional plan for both – you can hit up Airbnb to rent the original Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mansion (which is actually located in Bel Air) for just US$30 a night.

Will Smith himself is working with the current owners to make this happen, even being named as the official Airbnb host on the listing. As the description reads:

“Ready for the freshest staycation ever? If this place looks familiar that’s because it’s just as fly as it was when I first rolled up the driveway. I’m back. And this time, I’m handing you the keys so you’ll have my wing of the mansion all to yourself – but my sneaker collection is off-limits, aight?”

“It’s your crib for the night, so feel free to act like you own the place. My wing of the mansion includes my bedroom (great for naps), a full bathroom (great for spitting bars in the shower), pool area (great for dips), an outdoor lounge, and the dining room (great for eating obviously). And you gotta do it like my guy DJ Jazzy Jeff so don’t forget your sunglasses!”

“Royal perks” of your Airbnb stay at The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mansion will include:

  • The opportunity to lace up a fresh pair of Jordans to shoot some hoops in your bedroom
  • Spinning throwback classics all night on a turntable
  • Donning a fly look from Will’s closet (“from argyle prepster to all-star athlete”)
  • Soaking up some sun by the pool on luxe lounge chairs
  • And while you won’t have access to a kitchen, all meals will be “provided and served on silver platters”

Similar to other Airbnb special offers – namely the one in the Louvre and the one in the world’s last Blockbusters – you’ll only be able to book a single night’s stay on select dates. Find out more below.
