With popular photo-sharing app Instagram now in its 9th year, it’s crazy to think how much the visual feed has force-fed our desires and influenced our lives. In regards to travel, for instance, there’s been strong evidence to suggest that people’s holiday plans are heavily swayed by what we see through our feed, and has even pushed us to go places that’ll look good on our own feeds.
In previous years, travel website Hoppa had a deep dive into the app to find out which cities we loved posting about most, with New York taking the cake followed closely by London and then Paris respectively.
