For Formula 1 fans, attending the Singapore Grand Prix is an experience like no other. The night race, set against the epic Marina Bay skyline, is amongst the toughest race on the calendar, where heat and humidity are matched only by the electric atmosphere in and around the track. For those seeking a convenient way to experience the weekend in all its glory, Keith Prowse Travel offers premium, tailored, packages for all budgets, alongside exclusive access to F1 talent. Here’s a snap shot of what you can expect when you book with KPT.
Exclusive Pre-Race Function with F1 Icons
One of the highlights of the KPT itinerary is their pre-race function, which features a Q&A session with an F1 driver. Following last year’s appearance by Valtteri Bottas, this year guests were treated to insights from Australian Jack Doohan, who graduates from Alpine reserve driver to an official seat alongside Pierre Gasly in 2025.
Doohan provided a fascinating snapshot of a typical race weekend as a reserve driver (which includes plenty of time in the simulator) and spoke of the excitement inking his deal with Alpine for his rookie season. Held at Smoke & Mirrors, atop Singapore’s National Gallery, KPT guests enjoyed 180 degree views of the track for some Carrera Cup action while taking advantage of the open bar.
Expert Recommendations
The Keith Prowse Travel service starts from the point of enquiry, where a sports travel specialist will speak with each client to help them find the best ticket and package option to suit their individual love of the F1 – which grandstands are best for views of pit lane, overtaking, DRS zones, or a-grade hospitality.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned F1 enthusiast, there’s a seat for every preference, including Paddock Club, for those with very deep pockets.
Clients can choose from a range of luxury accomodation and while flights are not included in the standard packages, KPT can arrange end-to-end travel services for those who prefer a fully inclusive trip, which includes a comprehensive digital event guide filled with details about the race, insider tips, and top dining recommendations around Singapore.
Grandstands Galore
Across the three day weekend, we experienced the action from three different vantage points, each associated with a different level of investment, and comfort. The standout was, undoubtedly, the Lounge@Turn 3, which is the first set of corners after the straight, located directly after the pit exit. It’s a fantastic spot to both see and hear the cars, especially during practice as drivers move through the section at varied speeds, offering a myriad of shifts for your aural pleasure.
The Lounge@Turn 3 also provides and escape from the heat, with an air-conditioned dining room serving a buffet dinner alongside an open bar. The Green Room dining facility boasts views of the track, as well as premium booze, so you can enjoy the action while you eat, drink and be merry. Outdoor grandstand seating gets you closer to the action, while a range of bars serving cocktails, beers and wine, as well as dude food vendors cater to your thirst and hunger – all inclusive, of course.
Padang & Pit Exit
If you’re as interested in the entertainment as you are the racing, it’s hard to go past the Padang Grandstand. At Padang, punters sit in the A or B grandstand, with the main entertainment stage located between the two sides. It’s the perfect choice for those who want to soak up a Disclosure performance before high-tailing it to their seat for Qualifying. Once seated you’ll witness the drivers flying down St Andrews Road into the notorious Singapore Sling (Turn 10) at speeds of up to 275km/h.
Finally, for race night we ventured inside the track to Pit Exit Grandstand, where you can almost touch the cars as they exit the pit and as they brake to enter Turn 1. While it’s a great spot to watch the start of the race, it’s not a grandstand I’d recommend. It’s a good 20 min walk from the entry with limited food and beverage choices, and limited racing action.
