To spotlight his cannabis company Houseplant, raise a few bucks for charity, and further his reputation as a professional chiller in the process, Seth Rogen is offering up quite the holiday experience at his Los Angeles bungalow via Airbnb (Seth Rogen included).
Decked out in Houseplant-related décor, the opportunity of a lifetime will only cost US$42 (AU$58.80) per night. Remarkably reasonable considering what all this entails.
“If you’re reading this, you’re considering booking a night at the Houseplant-inspired retreat. What makes it Houseplant-y, you may be asking? Well, it’s stocked with some of our favourite Housegoods (even a pre-release copy of our NEW Vinyl Box Set Vol 2!),” reads the note ostensibly written by Seth Rogen.

“The mid-century styling and LA views also have a distinctly Houseplant feel. And there’s the fact that I’ll be there to welcome you, which given that I’m the founder, adds to the Houseplant-ness. I AM HOUSEPLANT!”
According to the listing, during your stay, here, you’ll be able to…
- Throw some pottery with the big fella himself at his in-house studio for anyone keen to glaze it (“I’m a pretty good teacher!”)
- Soak in the sun + view + setting + vibe (“All equally good whether you’re looking to be relaxed or inspired”)
- Hear the unreleased Vinyl Box Set Vol. 2 curated by Rogen and longtime creative partner/best friend Evan Goldberg
- And enjoy a fully-sticked fridge (“Go ahead and de-stock it / eat it all”)

“This mid-century modern space is an ideal getaway if you’re looking for inspiration, or just for a good hang. There’s also a pottery wheel there.”
As part of their collaboration with Seth Rogen and Houseplant, Airbnb will also be making a one-time donation to Hilarity For Charity – an American non-profit that cares for families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, “activates” the next generation of Alzheimer’s advocates, as well as leading both brain health research and education.
Bookings for three separate one-night stays (February 15th, 16th, 17th) open next Wednesday (February 8th) at precisely 5 AM local time.
