Another bottle of rare Scotch whisky from Macallan has sold for a record price at a Bonham's auction in Edinburgh, Scotland. The 1926 Macallan Valerio Adami that was once referred to as the "Holy Grail" of whisky by their in-house specialists was one of only 24 bottles ever made.   This particular drop is from the same batch as the previous record-setter which fetched a similar figure but was sold as a duo of two bottles, theoretically making each only worth half of their staggering million-dollar price. The hype continues with this single, 60-year-old example, making it the first standalone bottle of whisky to ever reach a sale price of $1.5 million.
