How much do you value your sleep? Have you ever thought about putting a price on it?
US$200,000 (AU$295,000) is about as rowdy as it gets when it comes to a good night’s sleep – the price-tag of Swedish company Hästens’ most lavish bed dubbed the ‘Vividus’. Established in 1852, Hästens spends up to 350 hours constructing each bed, with six-figure prices not uncommon across its range.
Thankfully, the Lotte New York Palace hotel now allows the average punter (albeit for a nightly rate of US$10,000) to experience this incredible creation for themselves in the ‘Hästens Ultimate Sleep Suite.’ It is the only hotel room in the world to house the latest iteration of the flagship US$200,000 bed.
Located on the 43rd floor of the hotel’s exclusive Tower section, the Ultimate Sleep Suite has been re-fitted with a Hästens-inspired Scandinavian décor. Hästens’ signature towels, sleep masks, with classically blue/white checkered fabric included throughout along with alpaca throws and throw pillows.
Guests receive a pre-arrival call from a ‘Sleep Curator’ to discuss pillow preferences, pyjama sizes, and more as to completely personalise their stay. The best part, however, is the 24-hour room service (that you’ll most definitely need) to get you through that Netflix and chill marathon.
The Hästens Ultimate Sleep Suite start at US$10,000 per night, head to lottenypalace.com to book.
