Rimowa's briefcase has been an essential businessman's accompaniment for years, but this gold reimagining of the company's classic attaché case is a serious level-up.

The rounded exterior is cast in gold-coloured aluminium, complete with Rimowa's signature grooves, and is lined in black Italian leather and finished with interior pockets.

Designed and engineered in Germany, it features a three-digit combination lock to offer vintage sensibility with modern minimalist design.

If you think you know someone who would cop one of these, perhaps they're the same kind of executive who would also drop $270,000 on a professional F1 simulator for the office. Worth asking, right?

Rimowa's Gold Attaché Case retails for US$1,800, head to rimowa.com for more.
